Andy Cryan Eyes Historic Three-Peat in 2026 DLM at Oswego
By STEVEN PETTY
GTR Promotions – OSWEGO, NY (April 5, 2026) – One of the most anticipated Super Stock events of the season is set to return in 2026 for the final Dave London Memorial at Oswego Speedway during Classic Weekend. The event showcases top talent, including defending winner Andy Cryan, who is aiming for an incredible third consecutive victory in the prestigious event.
For Cryan, the opportunity to win three straight Dave London Memorials would place him in rare company and solidify his name among the event’s elite. “Winning three in a row would be a pretty special accomplishment,” said Cryan. “It’s the biggest race of the year for Super Stocks and it’s the one everyone wants to win, especially for Brad Julicher and the crew. They work so hard and put a ton of time into the car.”
Cryan’s success at Oswego is no coincidence. The fast, demanding layout of the Steel Palace has proven to be a perfect match for his driving style, while also holding deep personal significance. “It’s pretty cool. The track suits my driving style,” Cryan explained. “I grew up watching the Supermodifieds on Empire Sports Network, watching the legends like Joe Gosek and Otto Sitterly.”
Beyond personal achievement, Cryan emphasized the importance of Oswego Speedway for the Super Stock division as a whole. “It’s always healthy for a class to get to run Oswego,” he said. “The track is very well known, and anytime a NASCAR-sanctioned series runs on a weekend that your class is also asked to run, it’s a pretty big deal.” Once again, the DLM is part of the International Classic Weekend, which hosts the 71st International Classic 200 for the Supermodifieds, plus the Toyota Modified Classic for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour.
As for the 2026 season, Cryan indicated a focused schedule centered primarily on Oswego, while the team explores additional opportunities. “I’m pretty sure I’m just running the Oswego races,” Cryan added. “The team will, I’m sure, have some pretty good drivers lined up to run numerous other events.”
With momentum on his side and a dedicated team behind him, all eyes will be on Andy Cryan as he chases history in the 2026 Dave London Memorial, a race that continues to stand as the crown jewel for Super Stock competitors.
