Oswego Speedway Unveils Full 2026 Schedule Highlighting 75th Anniversary Season and 70th Budweiser Classic Weekend

OSWEGO, NY (October 13, 2025) - Oswego Speedway has officially released its 2026 schedule, outlining a full summer of action at the Steel Palace as the track celebrates its 75th Anniversary Season and the 70th Annual Budweiser International Classic Weekend.

The 2026 campaign will feature a full slate for the Novelis Supermodifieds, Pathfinder Bank SBS, and Oswego County Tourism 350 Supermodifieds, along with visits from touring partners including ISMA/MSS Winged Supermodifieds, GTR Super Stocks, NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour, XMR Sport Mods, and the New York State Compact Championship.

Oswego will open one week later than usual on Saturday, May 30, to help avoid early-season weather concerns experienced in recent years. Due to a later Labor Day Weekend, the track will gain an extra race in August and then return to its traditional Memorial Day weekend opener in 2027.

In total, the 2026 schedule includes eight championship events for the Novelis Supermodifieds and nine for both the Pathfinder Bank SBS and Oswego County Tourism 350 Supermodified divisions, excluding Classic Weekend.

All Supermodified championship dates are locked in, but the addition of other touring series or special events could result in adjustments to the support classes on select nights. Regardless, the Novelis Supermodifieds, Pathfinder Bank SBS, and Oswego County Tourism 350 Supermodifieds will each contest full championship schedules throughout the season.

Highlights of the 2026 schedule include the return of the John Nicotra Oswego Super Challenge, a four-race series for the Novelis Supermodifieds and ISMA/MSS Winged Supermodifieds that will span the entire summer and award a lucrative, separate points championship and bonus purse. Challenge rounds are set for May 30, June 6, August 15, and September 6, culminating with the 70th Budweiser International Classic 200.

The 75th Anniversary Season Kickoff on Saturday, May 30 opens the year with a huge night featuring the ISMA/MSS Winged Supermodifieds in Challenge Race #1, along with championship openers for the Pathfinder Bank SBS and Oswego County Tourism 350 Winged Supermodifieds.

On June 6, the Novelis Supermodifieds headline their first points race of the season with the Jim Shampine Memorial 60-lapper, joined by the Pathfinder Bank SBS Tony White Memorial, forming one of Oswego’s most traditional and meaningful nights of the season. This event also serves as Oswego Super Challenge Round #2.

The schedule continues with two marquee July programs. The Independence Day Spectacular on Saturday, July 4 features a full card for the Supers, SBS, and 350 Supers followed by a massive fireworks display to celebrate the holiday weekend. Then, on Saturday, July 18, the Novelis Supermodifieds Twin Feature Night returns with Twin 40-lap mains, each paying full championship points - crucial rounds in the battle for the 2026 Supermodified track title.

Another major highlight arrives on Saturday, August 15, with the 39th Annual Mr. Novelis Supermodified, 34th Annual Mr. Pathfinder Bank SBS, and 6th Annual Mr. Oswego County Tourism 350 Winged Supermodified Championships. The Mr. Supermodified feature doubles as Oswego Super Challenge Round #3, paying $10,000 to win, while the SBS and 350 titles will again award elevated purses and recognition.

Finally, the season will culminate with Round #4 of the Oswego Super Challenge during the 70th Annual Budweiser International Classic Weekend, set for September 4-6, highlighted by the 70th Budweiser International Classic 200, the 35th Bud Light SBS Classic, and the 9th Busch Light Oswego County Tourism 350 Supermodified Classic.

The Speedway’s schedule is being released earlier than ever to give teams, fans, and partners additional time to plan and prepare for this milestone year. More announcements will follow throughout the offseason as Oswego looks ahead to a special 75th Anniversary celebration.
