Oswego Speedway Launches Foam Blocks Fundraiser to Improve Driver Safety
OSWEGO, NY (May 28, 2024) - Oswego Speedway is rallying its community for a special fundraiser aimed at enhancing driver safety. Michelle Barzee, Fundraiser and Classic Laps Coordinator, spearheads the initiative to acquire new foam blocks.
Barzee emphasizes the importance of proactive measures to safeguard drivers, especially in high-impact zones like turns one and two.
Priced at $300.00 each, the foam blocks play a vital role in minimizing heavier accidents and driver injuries. Barzee is calling upon racing teams, sponsors, fans, and local businesses to contribute to this cause.
Every contribution, big or small, will be recognized in the 2024 Classic Yearbook and through announcements during race events.
