Dave Shullick Jr. Rockets to JP Jewelers Pole for 69th Budweiser International Classic 200
OSWEGO, NY (August 29, 2025) - Last year’s Oswego Speedway champion Dave Shullick Jr. powered the new Osetek Racing No. 95 to his second career JP Jewelers Pole Award for the 69th running of the Budweiser International Classic 200 for Novelis Supermodifieds this Sunday. Shullick cracked the elusive 15-second bracket with a blistering lap of 15.955 seconds, one of only two drivers in the field to do so.
Joining him on the front row will be Michael Barnes, who clocked in at 15.985 seconds with the Syrell Racing No. 68. The effort marks Barnes’ sixth career front row start in the Classic.
Last year’s polesitter, Otto Sitterly, qualified third with a lap of 16.016, while Dan Connors Jr. turned in a strong run to secure the fourth starting spot at 16.038. Defending race winner Tyler Thompson rounded out the top five with a lap of 16.066.
The remainder of the top ten included Josh Sokolic (16.080), Mike McVetta (16.138), Dave Danzer (16.144), Brandon Bellinger (16.180), and Logan Rayvals (16.227).
