Team Abold Racing Bike Giveaway To Feature Over 100 Bicycles This Saturday At Oswego Speedway
OSWEGO, NY (July 17, 2025) - Team Abold Racing is excited to announce that its third annual Bike Giveaway at Oswego Speedway will take place this Saturday, July 19, during Autograph Night, with an incredible total of 104 brand new bicycles and many helmets set to be distributed to young fans in attendance.
What began as a small gesture just two years ago has rapidly grown into one of the most highly anticipated traditions of the summer at the Steel Palace. In 2023, Supermodified driver Jeff Abold started the giveaway with the goal of handing out two bikes - one for a boy and one for a girl. Thanks to the generosity of the racing community, that total quickly grew to nine. Last season, with the help of Mike Silliman and the Team Abold Racing crew, the effort expanded again with nearly 70 bicycles donated.
This year, the support from racers, teams, and fans across the country has been overwhelming. Team Abold Racing is thrilled to announce that the number has surpassed 100, with at least 104 bicycles and dozens of helmets ready to be given away during Saturday’s Autograph Night.
“Team Abold Racing is proud to present our third annual Bike Giveaway at Oswego Speedway this Saturday, July 19,” said Abold. “Through generous donations from our nationwide racing family and friends, we are excited to announce we will have over 100 bikes and many helmets to give away this weekend. We can’t thank everyone involved in making this happen enough and we hope to see everyone there.”
Each child age 16 and under will receive a free ticket at the front gate upon entry. Beginning at 5:15 PM, during the Autograph Session, kids can place their ticket into the bucket of the bike they wish to win. At the end of the night, the names of each winning child - along with the name of the individual or organization that donated the bike - will be announced on the frontstretch.
Children ages 16 and under are admitted free to Oswego Speedway every regular race night, including this Saturday’s Autograph Night presented by the Children’s Museum of Oswego, Oswego County Habitat for Humanity, and Chase Enterprises.
Team Abold Racing and Oswego Speedway would like to extend its sincere thanks to the countless supporters who have made this special event possible again in 2025.
