Valvoline and Team Abold Racing Continue Partnership in 2025
OSWEGO, NY (May 21, 2025) - Team Abold Racing and driver Jeff Abold would like to announce their continued partnership with Valvoline Global for the 2025 racing season. Founded by Dr John Ellis in Binghamton NY in 1886, Valvoline prides itself on being the original motor oil and continues to set the pace time and time again. Valvoline posted its first motorsports win in 1895, as well as many other premier races like the Indy 500 and Daytona 500.
Valvoline is proud of its numerous innovations with their most recent being Restore and Protect oil. This is the first motor oil designed to restore engines to new conditions.
Ed Zawtocki of Valvoline stated, “Valvoline prides itself on being the original motor oil and has had a deep history in motorsports. Team Abold Racing also has a deep history in motorsports and when I was presented with the opportunity to help support them it was a no brainer. We have extended our partnership for the 2025 season, and I can’t wait to get started.”

Abold and the #05 Supermodified will start their season this Saturday, May 24th at the Oswego Speedway.
