Interview with 2022 Supermodified Track Champion Brandon Bellinger
FULTON, NY (February 27, 2024) - 2022 Novelis Supermodified track champion Brandon Bellinger got his turn behind the mic with Doug Elkins of Elkins Video Productions yesterday evening.
Bellinger, who was also the runner-up in the point standings a year ago, fell just 27 points short of a repeat track title to Dave Shullick Jr. The driver of the Daratt Racing No. 02 tallied five top 5 finishes and six top 10 finishes through nine starts in 2023, which was bested only by Shullick.
In this interview, Brandon touches on his pursuit of a second track championship during 2023, his continued focus on competing at Oswego Speedway full-time in 2024, plans to upgrade his winged program and potential support of the five-race Challenge, and also his thoughts on the tire and aero rule changes for the Novelis Supermodified division.
