Oswego Speedway to Participate in 34th Annual Syracuse Motorsports Expo this Saturday and Sunday at NYS Fairgrounds

OSWEGO, NY (March 10, 2020) - The Oswego Speedway will once again be participating in this weekend’s Syracuse Motorsports Expo scheduled for Saturday, March 14 and Sunday, March 15 at the New York State Fairgrounds Exposition Center.

The Speedway will have a booth setup both days; Saturday from 10am to 8pm and Sunday from 11am to 4pm passing out schedules, selling merchandise, and answering any inquiries pertaining to the 2020 season.

In addition, three competitors in the Pathfinder Bank SBS division; Greg O’Connor, Tony Pisa, and Ken Moody Jr, will all unveil 2020 designs for their Small Block Super machines. All three drivers will compete at the Speedway weekly in 2020.

Following the Expo on Saturday, as well as Friday evening, race fans are encouraged to attend the Indoor Auto Racing finale for TQ Midgets, Champ Karts, and Slingshots, to be contested in the Fairgrounds’ new Exposition Center each evening.

Friday racing begins at 7:30 with all three divisions on the card while the Saturday racing action is scheduled for 7:00, also featuring TQ’s, Champ Karts and Slingshots. Oswego Speedway will be sponsoring TQ heat races for the whole weekend; awarding each preliminary victor $50.

Two current Supermodified competitors; 2019 Classic champion Tyler Thompson and ‘16 track champ Michael Barnes will each compete for Jason Simmons in both legs of the Indoor Auto Racing finale. Barnes and Thompson sit 11th and 12th in the overall standings, respectively.

Admission for this weekend’s 34th annual Syracuse Motorsports Expo is $13 for adults and $5 for kids 6-12. Kids 5 and under are FREE. A two day pass is just $20. More information will be obtainable at SyracuseMotorsportsExpo.com.
