G.O. Racing’s O’Connor and Pisa Set for Full Oswego Slate in 2020; Munski Automotive to Support for Eighth Consecutive Year

OSWEGO, NY (March 3, 2020) - G.O. Racing teammates Greg O’Connor and Tony Pisa announced this week that they will return to the commitment program in the Oswego Speedway Pathfinder Bank SBS class with continued support from Munski Automotive for 2020.

Both drivers ran a full season last year, with O’Connor picking up his third career win on Skip’s Fish Fry $5 Admission Track Championship Night. The pair combined for fourteen top ten and four top five efforts between both the No. 89 and No. 90 machines.

“We had a decent season last year and were able to finish things off with a win,” offered O’Connor. “I think a successful 2020 for us would be getting both cars in victory lane. I’d like to get Tony a heat or feature win and myself another feature as well. Another big goal is having both cars top five in points.”

A major sponsor of G.O. Racing, Dennis Munski opened the doors of Munski Auto in 1992, with the goal of providing quality service and customer satisfaction. At Munski’s, Dennis and master mechanic Lyle can do it all, from fixing a flat tire to changing a damaged motor; and all at a fair price.

“It’s a pleasure to have Dennis and Munski Automotive onboard again this season,” noted O’Connor, who owns the G.O. Racing machines piloted by himself and Pisa. “Dennis has been with us through the highs and lows. He is a huge supporter, not only as a sponsor, but he works on the cars as well. I can’t thank him enough. Without Dennis, my career likely would not have made it to this point.”

Greg’s driver and teammate Pisa said, “My thoughts echo Greg’s. If not for the support from Dennis, my rookie year may have also been my last. Dennis has been there every step of the way to lend a hand or offer advice for both of us. We’re very appreciative of him and really looking forward to 2020.”

Both G.O. Racing machines are nearly ready for the 2020 racing season and the team plans to have them on display at the upcoming Motorsports Expo. The Expo will be held in the Center of Progress building at the Fairgrounds on March 14 and 15.

G.O. Racing has also announced the date for its annual Chicken BBQ Fundraiser, which will be held at The Sting Tavern on Sunday, June 14 starting at 1pm. The team hopes that everyone will be able to attend to support their efforts this season, chat with the drivers, and enjoy a nice afternoon.
