Now, he finds himself surrounded by well-wishers and autograph seekers at the close of each successful race.

Best of 2006: Otto Sitterly flips upside down then wins on Cingular & Oswego Bagelry night.
By Oswego Speedway :: 3555 Views :: News, Race Recap
715SitterlyVL_200.jpgLegend has it that Ed Bellinger Sr. once blew an engine in the old stock car days at the Oswego Speedway. The team loaded the car and traveled up old Route 57 to Calkins Road while unbolting the engine. They got to their garage, loaded in a new engine and bolted it in on the way back to the Speedway. Well sure enough he went out and won the feature when they returned. As amazing as that fete was in its day, it doesn’t even compare to what Otto Sitterly, his crew and the crews of many other cars did on Saturday night at the Oswego Speedway.

By Oswego Speedway :: 2898 Views :: News, Race Recap

With only a handful of laps to go, Warren ducked under ISMA’s top gun Chris Perley for second place and race leader Canadian supermodified veteran Dave McKnight. Once out in front, Warren sailed away the last few laps in the Perley-owned No. 71 to collect the win. .
