In 2005 they were booked for a Friday night "Party in the Pits" on August 19th. A late day change in the weather brought about tornado warnings from the National Weather Service. They had already begun their show when the weather turned sour and the crowd was a small one on that Friday night. Having had his No. 96 get caught up in racing mishaps in its last few outings, LeVea was able to grab the lead early on Saturday night, keeping his car out of harm’s way. | Wednesday, June 28, 2006 | | Saturday kicks-off with Pace Truck and driver appearances at Kids Carnival in Oswego.
By Oswego Speedway :: 2131 Views :: News |  The annual Fourth of July Holiday Weekend Kids Carnival is all set for Saturday morning in East Park in Oswego. The Oswego Speedway will be represented for the third year in a row with two drivers and the Pace Truck on display. Novelis Supermodified driver Travis Bartlett will have his red, white and blue #03 on display. PathFinder Bank Limited Driver Dave Gruel will have his red, white and blue #18 on display. Kids On-Track coordinator Patty Dixon will have the Pace Truck at the event as well. The Kids Carnival runs from 11:00 to 5:00 and the race cars, drivers and the Pace Truck will be on hand from 11:00 to 1:30. Kids will be able to get a close up look at a Supermodified and a Limited Super. They can have their pictures taken with the cars and drivers. It will be a great way to kick off a racing Saturday in Oswego. |

By Oswego Speedway :: 1656 Views :: News, Race Preview | A big Holiday weekend is set at the Oswego Speedway brought to you by Empire Federal Credit Union and Inkspot. On Friday night the first concert of the summer was held as "Under the Gun" performed on the Burkes Home Center / Galloway Realty Stage in the infield. Tonight the PathFinder Bank Limited Supers will run a 35 lap feature and the Novelis Supermodifieds will run a Grand Prix 75 lap feature. After the racing action there will be a fireworks display and the band "Ozone" will perform on the Burkes / Galloway Stage.
