The big "$10,000 to Win" weekend at the Oswego Speedway starts off one night earlier than usual with the first WSEN Super Cruise and Party in the Pits for 2006. In addition to classic cars and trucks on display the opening night band will be the Swivel Rockers performing at 7:00 on the Burkes Home Center / Galloway Realty stage. Several other activities are planned for Friday night as well.

The Kids On-Track "Mini-Supermodifieds" will be available to all program members for a two hour session from 5:30 to 7:30. With so much interest in these cars there are going to be a few of these open two hour sessions as the season progresses. All sessions will be announced in advance and will be open to all program members. Kids wanting to join the program will be able to do so when these two hour events are scheduled.

In addition to the Super Cruise, the Swivel Rockers and the "Mini-Supermodified" rides, the Red Planet Skate Park will be bringing up their ramps for their members to participate in bike and board stunts. Par-K Motors will be on hand with a display of vehicles. The Red Cross will be holding their annual 50/50 raffle. The Eagles Fan Club will be selling Super fan Plan tickets. The Fitzhugh Park Home and School association will be holding a playground fundraiser and the Greyhound Outreach Program will be on hand with a few dogs and brochures to distribute about their adoption programs for greyhounds.

Plan on coming out this Friday night for the first WSEN Super Cruise and Party in the Pits of the 2006 season. "Mini-Supermodified" rides begin at 5:30. The cruisers show up around 6:00 and the Swivel Rockers begin playing at 7:00.
