Saturday night June 24th is the first of three special aluminum recycling nights at the Oswego Speedway in 2006. The Oswego Novelis Works in conjunction with Habitat for Humanity will be holding a can collection at the Oswego Speedway prior to the “Family Night” of racing. Novelis will be encouraging everyone to buy aluminum cans and recycle…making every can count. Proceeds from these collections will go to benefit the Oswego County Chapter of Habitat for Humanity. Aluminum cans help build Habitat for Humanity homes right here in Oswego. Please recycle. On each of the three dates this summer, June 24th, July 22nd and August 12th, fans will be given a chance to turn recyclable cans into Classic Week tickets. On June 24th the offer for fans coming to the races is to bring a minimum of 100 cans to the Novelis / Habitat for Humanity display and they will receive two random tickets to racing action during Classic Week at the Oswego Speedway. For each additional 100 cans a fan brings they will receive an additional ticket. The collection area will be open from 4:00 to 6:30 in front of the Speedway near Ticket Booth #2. Get your can to the Oswego Speedway this Saturday night and you could be coming back to see some Classic Week races for free with your donation of cans to Novelis and Habitat for Humanity. |
