Otto Sitterly’s early season march to Victory Lane at the Oswego Speedway is about to get a little interesting. Greg Furlong jumps back behind the wheel of the Community Bank #72 and teammate Bentley Warren is set to do battle with the Lighthouse Lanes "Double Deuce".

Furlong, who had planned to sit out until the August 19th Ferris Industries Twin 30’s will interrupt his lay-off this Saturday night and take a shot at dethroning Otto Sitterly from Victory Lane. Furlong hasn’t committed to weekly competition but is looking forward to competing with the Hawk Chassis' that call Oswego Speedway their home track, the #79 of Sitterly and the #0 of Tim Snyder.

Unlike Furlong, Bentley Warren is expecting to compete at most remaining races on the 2006 schedule at the Oswego Speedway. The #22 is undergoing some last minute work and hopes to hit the track on June 17th to join Furlong in trying to put one of their team cars into Victory Lane.

As the June temperatures start to rise in Central New York, look for some familiar names to start to raise the bar in weekly Supermodified racing competition. Otto Sitterly has said that there is "more in his car" than he has used in his two wins to date at Oswego. Starting this week, he’ll have to reach down and grab that extra to hold off some regular vistors to Victory Lane.
