This week is the first of two “2 for 1” Family Admission Nights at the Oswego Speedway in 2006 at the Oswego Speedway. RJ Caruso Tax & Accounting team up with C& B Farm & Garden / Piggers Liquors / Pig Pens Party Barn to sponsor this event each year. The night starts off with the Constellation & Entergy Kids autograph session on the track at 5:15 before the racing action starts. The night ends with a 30 lap Enduro on the 5/8’s track and a Demolition Derby on the front straight.

A regular sponsor of the Demolition Derby night is R.J. Caruso Tax and Accounting owned by former Oswego Speedway Co-Owner Romey Caruso. Romey was one of the very first sponsors to sign on with the “New” Oswego Speedway and picked the Demolition Derby Event to put his sponsorship behind. R.J. Caruso Tax and Accounting is one of the few accounting businesses that will handle tax preparation for the auto racing industry. Romey, Jason Rinoldo and Chad Holbert handle racing clients on the local as well as national racing scene. In 2004 R.J. Caruso Tax and Accounting expanded by starting to offer a new payroll service to businesses in the local area. This payroll service has expanded greatly and they now handle this service for many businesses throughout central New York.

Long time sponsors C&B Farm & Garden / Piggers Liquors / Pig Pens Party Barn added Getty Gas pumps in 2005 to offer their customers a convenient one stop shopping experience. All businesses are located on State Route 104 in Scriba just east of the Oswego Speedway. C&B Farm & Garden carries everything that you need for landscaping and any outdoor needs for your home. Piggers Liquors handles a large selection of wines and other favorite party drinks. The newest branch of the business is the Party Barn featuring Getty Gas pumps, which is a convenient stop to pick up most any little item while driving through the Scriba area.

It is “2 for 1” Family Admission Night this week. Two adults get in for $14, two students or seniors get in for $12 and kids twelve and under get in for free. Remember to support the Oswego Chapter of Habitat for Humanity by stopping by the Novelis can collection area across from the Speedway on Saturday and drop off your cans to earn free 2006 Classic week tickets.
