The summer racing season always seems to get into full swing when Memorial Day Weekend comes around. Here at the Oswego Speedway, that is definitely the case with races dedicated to the memories of Jim Shampine, Richie Evans and Tony White sponsored by Community Bank, N.A. and Days Inn.

Our first sponsor this weekend is Community Bank, N.A. which is headquartered outside of Syracuse, New York with over 80 branches in New York State. Our second sponsor this weekend is Days Inn here in Oswego. Days Inn and Scottish Inns & Suites were purchased by a new ownership group prior to the 2005 racing season and the long lasting sponsorship with the Oswego Speedway has continued with billboard advertising and new for 2006 two nights of race sponsorship as well. Days Inn, located on Route 104 East, is located just minutes from local shopping and is within walking distance to the Oswego Speedway. Guests at Days Inn are treated to free hot breakfast and free wireless high speed internet connections. Days Inn has always been the local "home away from home" for many visiting race fans, especially Canadians, for several years. This weekend marks their first race night sponsorship to recognize their many supporters over the years.

Parts Plus, the season-long Modified sponsor at the Oswego Speedway will be sponsoring the RoC Richie Evans Memorial 100 this weekend. Also on the schedule will be the Jim Shampine Memorial 75 for the Novelis Supermodifieds and the Tony White Memorial 35 for the PathFinder Bank Limited Supers.
