The stenciled tires that drivers used on Saturday night May 13th can be used at any future race date. They will not be required to be used on June 3 rd as previously announced. The heat races were completed on May 13th but the features were rained out. Track management decided to let competitors and Pit Pass Holders to come back for free to the Memorial Day Weekend races and Grandstand ticket holders will get in for just $9 with their ticket stubs from May 13th.

All competitors in the Novelis Supermodified and PathFinder Bank Limited Supers received 40 "show-up" points for the night and the updated point standings will be on the Oswego website.

Racing at the Oswego Speedway on Saturday night May 13th fell victim to the rain in the area. Although the rain danced all around the Oswego Speedway for most of the day and night with the sun shining between the clouds on and off, the rain started to fall as night settled in and the racing action had to be cancelled.

Not enough racing was in the books for the fans to have seen a "completed show" so all fans will get credit for their grandstand tickets and pit passes in two weeks for the Memorial Day Weekend show. The feature races will not be made up and the preliminaries do not go into the record books. The USAC Ford Focus division will run a twin bill on a future visit in 2006. Focus heats were won by Brian Smith and Stephanie Stevens, who skipped college graduation ceremonies to be on hand at the Oswego Speedway.

Regular division heat race winners that are no longer "official" were Chris Proud, Rob Pullen and Russ Brown for the PathFinder Bank Limited Supers. In the Novelis Supermodifieds, heat races that will never make the history books were won by Tim Snyder, Jerry Curran and Otto Sitterly.

Fans are reminded to hold on to gate tickets and pit wristbands as both will be needed on May 27th to receive credit for the May 13th cancellation.  All fans holding tickets with prices or "comp" on them from the May 13th event will only have to pay the difference for the May 27th race, which in most cases will be $9 for the grandstands and $0 for the pits.
