The King of Wings weekend has finally arrived and that means one lucky fan could be walking home with $10,000 at the conclusion of the “Mr. Novelis Supermodified” race on August 1st. In the Burkes Do-It Best “$10,000 to Win Fan Contest”, one fan that correctly predicts the top three finishing order from both of the $10,000 to win “King of Wings” and “Mr. Novelis Supermodified” races will win $10,000 also.

Fans had the opportunity to fill out entry blanks and list their top three finishers for both races from May 4th through July 4th at both Burkes Home Center locations and at the Oswego Speedway on Saturday nights.  Over two hundred fans entered the contest which allowed for one hundred fans to be selected as finalists. All finalists were contacted on Sunday July 5th and they have had their choices sent along to the insurance company underwriting this contest.

The most common choice for the top three in this week’s “King of Wings” event was Chris Perley to win, Tim Jedrzejek for second and Charlie Schultz in third. One fan, Ken Ketcham from Fulton, has all three of these drivers in this order on his official entry blank.

The contest will be updated after the “King of Wings” event to see who is still in the running for the $10,000 on “Mr. Novelis Supermodified” night. Any fan that has the correct top three from July 11th will be given two passes for the Lighthouse VIP Tower or the State Farm of Oswego Sky Deck for August 1st so that they can be guests of the Oswego Speedway and cheer on their final top three for the big money.
