The December 3rd fire in the city of Oswego that destroyed a two family home next to Wholesale Diamond Exchange has left all occupants without a home or belongings just weeks before Christmas. One of the families that lost everything is the sister-in-law of supermodified driver Craig Rayvals. Lighthouse Lanes in Oswego has already set up a fundraiser to help out with this terrible event.
Sunday December 14th has been set aside for a pulled pork dinner at Lighthouse Lanes from 12:00 to 5:00. Dinners will be $10 at the door. Meals can be pre-ordered by calling Lighthouse Lanes at 342-BOWL. There will be door prize raffles and 50/50 raffles at the event as well. The Rayvals and Smith families would like to thank the many people that have called with concerns for those affected. They would also like to thank Bob Hoefer, Nick Sereno and the entire Lighthouse Lanes staff for putting a fundraiser in place in such short period of time. Please come out and show your support for a wonderful group of people during this special time of the year. |
