The 2009 racing season at the Oswego Speedway is getting closer and Grandstand Reserved Seat and Pit Area Season Passes are now on sale at the Speedway Box Office. As the race schedule is close to being finalized for 2009, enough pieces are in place to be able to start selling these passes.

The Oswego Speedway has held the line on Grandstand Pass prices at $225 and Pit Area prices at $495 for the past two years. For 2009 the prices will go down for the first time ever. Grandstand Reserved Seat Season Passes will be $200 and just $175 for fans that renew their 2008 Season Pass. Pit Area Season Passes will be $470 and they will be $445 for those fans renewing their 2008 Season Pass. All fans renewing either pass receive this extra $25 discount which was announced last summer because of missing two weeks with rainouts early in the 2008 season.

2009 regular Season Passes have already been mailed out to the 2008 Novelis recycling can collection top four donators. Lonnie Guile and Ron Gunther selected Pit Passes, Robert Odin selected Sky Deck Passes and Carl Schadt received Grandstand Passes. Lonnie, Ron, Robert and Carl all donated over 6,600 cans apiece to lead the entire collection of 147,911 cans donated to the Habitat for Humanity efforts in Oswego County.

Call the Oswego Speedway Box Office at 342-0646 or stop by Monday through Friday from 9:00 to 4:00 to purchase 2009 Grandstand Reserved Seat or Pit Area Season Passes. Classic Week tickets can be purchased for just $100 when purchased in conjunction with a either type of Season Pass which is a savings of $30 off the regular Classic Week pricing.
