 The only "Official Soft Drink" in the fifty six seasons of racing at the Oswego Speedway, Coca-Cola, continues as a major sponsor of the Oswego Speedway in 2006. The regular points season for the Novelis Supermodifieds begins this week and the second week for the PowerAde point standings for the PathFinder Bank Limited Supers is this week as they were part of the Open Wheel Extravaganza on May 7th at the Speedway. Coca Cola will have an expanded presence again this season. In addition to being the title sponsor for Driver Point Funds through their Coca Cola and Powerade brands, Coca Cola will also be the sponsor of the Coca Cola Reserved Seat section in the grandstands near the finish line and the Coca Cola Permit Parking for VIP Tower guests. Coca Cola will also be a sponsor of the Kids On-Track program this season with their Minute Maid brand. Each Kids On-Track member that gets a Pace Truck ride this season will get, among other things, a bottle of Minute Maid Lemonade. Each week one lucky kid also receives a Subway Kids Pack which also includes a Minute Maid Drink Box. The Oswego Speedway is proud to serve such Coca Cola products as Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Barqs Root Beer, Dr. Pepper, PowerAde, Dasani Spring Water, Minute Maid Lemonade and Nestea Ice Tea. In 2006 Coca Cola will also be introducing selected new drinks that they have brought to the market place recently such as Vault. Coca Cola representatives will be on hand at the season ending Awards Banquet on October 28th at the Turning Stone Casino to pass out the Coca Cola and PowerAde Prize Money for both the Novelis Supermodifieds and the PathFinder Bank Limited Supers. Coca Cola and the Oswego Speedway will also be represented at the inaugural Auto Racing Expo 2006 at the Turning Stone Casino from June 15th through the 18th. Joining the Novelis Supermodifieds and PathFinder Bank Limited Supers will be the USAC Ford Focus Midgets racing on the 3/8 mile "short track" as the longest running sponsorship association at the Oswego Speedway continues this weekend with the annual "Coca Cola Kick-Off". |
