The Oswego County Quarter Midget Club paid a visit to the Oswego Speedway on Saturday night August 16th to run a few “hot laps” and to promote their upcoming Classic Weekend at their track located on Silk Road in Volney, just behind the Fulton Airport. Several drivers from the club were on hand for their annual trip to show off their stuff at "The Big O".

The week of events kicks off on Thursday August 21st with Classic Parking and Practice. Controlled practice will be from 5:00 until 9:00 with open practice following until 10:00. On Friday the 22nd, Classic Time Trials are on the schedule.  Controlled practice will take place from 4:30 until 6:45 with qualifying set to begin at 7:30. The 2008 Oswego County Quarter Midget Club Classic will take place at 7:00. A rain date has been posted for Sunday the 24th.
