Strong Racing is proud to announce a new sponsorship for their Supermodified #99 team at the Oswego Speedway. Terry and Pat Strong along with driver Pat Lavery and crew announce the addition of Burkes Do It Best Home Centers of Oswego and Fulton and Benjamin Moore Paints as sponsors for the 2006 season.
Team co-owner Pat Strong stated “Burke's and Benjamin Moore Paints coming on board should help greatly in getting the Strong Racing Team to the front of the pack and provide great exposure for Burkes, Benjamin Moore Paints and our other great sponsors.”
Pat Lavery finished up his fifth season in racing by taking home a fine sixth place finish in the Hoosier / Coca Cola point standings for the Novelis Supermodifieds at the Oswego Speedway in 2005. The addition of Burkes and Benjamin Moore Paints has the team looking to improve on that for 2006.
Strong Racing fans will also have the opportunity to help support the team through a marketing promotion from Burkes Do It Best Homecenters. The team will be handing out cards to fans during the season that, when presented to Burkes at the time of purchase, will allow a percentage of a sale to be donated back to Strong Racing. This is a win/win situation benefiting both the race team, Burkes Do It Best Homecenters and Benjamin Moore Paints.
