This year a new twist has been given to the guaranteed starter program for Classic. Instead of guaranteeing spots for drivers, spots will be guaranteed for car owners. The following owners have earned these spots by supporting supermodified racing all across the country. John Nicotra, Double Deuce Racing, Pat Furlong, Jr., Jake Ratcliff, Vic Miller, Jeff Holbrook, Brad Lichty, Howie Lane, Steve Stout, Craig Reed, Dave May, Randy Burch and Joe Gillingham have earned guaranteed starting spots. If any of these owners have multiple cars, they must designate which car and driver will be the guaranteed starter before time trials on Saturday. If any of these owners do not attempt to qualify for Classic, we will go to the next owner in their respective point standings. The owners must attempt to time trial both Saturday and Sunday. If they do not qualify in the top 28 in time trials, they will be added 29th and back and will not have to run the Classic Consi. As always, the 34th spot in the Classic will be reserved for the top driver in Oswego points that has not qualified for the Classic after the Classic Consi. 

The “Guaranteed Starter” for the SBS Classic 100 is “Mr. Small Block Super” Dave Cliff.
