Kevin Knopp and Joe Gosek put their black machines in Victory Lane for popular wins on Lighthouse Lanes, Warner Physical Therapy and Oswego Sub Shop Night. For Knopp it was the first win in his brand new FFB #04. For Gosek, he has won both races that he has finished in his new Xtreme #00 in the young 2007 season at the Oswego Speedway. Gosek's brother Ed, was a Speedway guest as he was interviewed about his 2006-2007 NCAA Division III National Championship Oswego State Great Laker Hockey team

Kevin Knopp did not waste any time charging to the front in the exciting PathFinder Bank SBS 30 lap feature event. Knopp had secured fifth place by lap five, second by lap nine and was leading the race by the midway point of the event. The always tough SBS division had cars dicing for position behind Knopp all race long. Lou LeVea appeared to have survived a spin in turn one to take second place but he crashed out of the event with one lap to go. Dave Cliff ran a spectacular race all night long and came home as the runner up to Knopp. JJ Andrews, who picked up a heat race earlier in the night, came home with a podium finish in third place with his “new” old car. Josh LaRochelle and Rick Zeigler rounded out the top five.

The Cooks Jewelers Heat Race wins went to Lou LeVea, Kevin Knopp and JJ Andrews. The Cutro Professional Inspections feature “Up ‘n Comer” was Rick Zeigler. The Localtrax.com “Hard Charger” was Chris Natoli. The Butler Disposal “Hard Luck” driver was Shawn Walker for the second week in a row. The SBS Racing News “Pass of the Race” was made by Kevin Knopp. The Whites Car Care “4th Place Bonus” went to Josh LaRochelle.  The Maid Pro “Clean Sweep” bonus which had gone unclaimed for two weeks was collected by Kevin Knopp making his night worth nearly $700 for his heat and feature wins.

Joe Gosek, was looking to pick up where he left off with his Opening Day win after running just one lap in the feature race last week. Gosek charged into fourth place by lap seven and was the runner up to Ray Graham by lap eleven. Gosek slipped underneath Graham in turn four on lap twenty two and set sail after his second checkered flag of the season. Meanwhile Greg Furlong, who flipped upside down last week and had his crew rebuild the car for this week, had put himself into the second position with a pass on Graham on lap twenty eight. Gosek and Furlong were both running around the seventeen second bracket just one week after both were taken off on the hook. At the finish it was Gosek and Furlong ahead of Graham, who ran the best non-wing race of his career at Oswego. Randy Ritskes, last week’s winner, came home in fourth and Keith Shampine rounded out the top five. Doug Didero in the Booth #61 was not a factor at the end of the race after running strong early in the night. Otto Sitterly crashed in the early stages of the feature after his team already rebuilt the car from a heat race crash. The Burkes Home Center Heat Race wins went to Ray Graham, Doug Didero and Randy Ritskes. The J&K Plumbing, Heating – A/C “Up ‘n Comer” was Ray Graham. The Jakes Automotive “Hard Charger” was Keith Shampine. The Colosse Cheese “Hard Luck” award went to Michael Barnes. The 2 Xtreme Auto Transport “Pass of the Race” was turned in by Joe Gosek.

The only visit of the 2007 season for the Super Stocks saw Bobby Newman pick up the win in the heat race over Mike Scorzelli, Joe Miller, Dave Fetterly and Brad Haynes. The feature also went to Newman who finished ahead of Jeff Merritt, Brad Haynes, Joe Miller and Dave Fetterly.
