The 2007 Oswego Speedway schedule is in the final stages of being completed. Just as in previous years, over 40,000 schedule brochures and posters will be printed at Speedway Press in time for the Gater Racing News Motorspsorts Expo, scheduled this year for March 9th, 10th and 11th at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse. Details for certain events are still being worked out but most dates are set and can be released for fans to plan around.

With the election of "Representatives" for the Novelis Supermodifieds and the PathFinderBank SBS Racing Series, it was decided to let both groups meet and discuss the tentative schedule that was released to race teams last October. Those meetings have begun and final details for the 2007 racing schedule are being finalized with representatives and the Oswego Speedway’s racing management.

Two Saturday "Open Practice" sessions on May 5th and May 12th precede the 2007 schedule which will mainly consist of Saturday night racing from May 19th through September 2nd. Saturday July 28th and Saturday August 25th will see no racing action as other events are planned at the Speedway. Saturday June 23rd and Saturday August 11th are held as rain dates. 

Special race dates still in the works are for Sunday May 13th, Friday May 25th, Friday August 10th and Wednesday August 22nd. There will be racing on Classic Week from Thursday August 30th through Sunday September 2nd. The Modified Race of Champions will run events from Thursday September 20th through Saturday September 22nd.

All race events with sponsor names will be announced when representatives and management conclude ongoing discussions.
