A Burritt Chevrolet, a Shapiro Dodge, a Tucker GMC and a Raynor Ford are all set to be the "Official Vehicles" for the Oswego Speedway in 2007. The racing action would not be possible without this fleet of trucks pacing the filed and carrying safety equipment weekly at the Oswego Speedway. Pacing the field for the fifth decade will be a Burritt Motors provided vehicle. For 2007 it will be the redesigned Chevrolet Avalanche. The Pace Truck makes several appearances representing the Speedway at area auto shows and race sponsor places of business during the season. Each week, a select group of "Kids On-Track" members get a chance to ride around the Speedway in the Pace Truck before the racing action starts. Tucker Pontiac-Cadillac-GMC will again be providing the "Official Safety Truck" at the Oswego Speedway. This vehicle, with fire safety equipment, will be a GMC Sierra and will be positioned in the infield near the finish line and pull out onto the racing surface during all accident situations. Leon Shapiro Motor Sales will be back with a Dodge Ram Pick Up which will be used at accident scenes to remove any broken pieces of the foam protective barrier that lines all four turns at the Speedway. Fred Raynor Ford-Lincoln-Mercury will be providing a Ford F250 which will be the second vehicle with fire safety equipment on it. This truck will be positioned inside of the turn two area and will also pull out onto the racing surface during all accident situations. The Oswego Speedway thanks returning sponsors Burritt, Shapiro and Tucker and welcomes Fred Raynor as a new member of the "Official Vehicle" supplier family in 2007. The Oswego Speedway encourages race fans to support these local auto dealers along with the more than two hundred sponsors listed in the Sponsor Section on the homepage of the Speedway website. |
