The Novelis Corporation will be back for the third season as the title sponsor of the Supermodified division at the Oswego Speedway in 2007. Novelis became the first ever division title sponsor in 2005 for the Supermodifieds that have been competing at the Oswego Speedway since 1962. Novelis will also, for the second season in a row, be a title sponsor during the twenty first annual "$10,000 to Win" night for Supermodifieds in 2007.

The relationship with Novelis and the Oswego Speedway also includes a strong relationship with the Oswego County chapter of Habitat for Humanity. Novelis is an industry recycling leader and in 2006 the Oswego Speedway offered race fans the opportunity to earn free Classic Week tickets in exchange for aluminum recyclable cans being turned in on three different race nights. A total of 42,000 cans were turned in and those donations go right back into trying to build a new Habitat for Humanity home right here in our community.

Details will be announced shortly for the new can collection program in 2007 here at the Oswego Speedway and again, fans will have the chance to help with what will be a very aggressive goal of cans that Novelis and the Oswego Speedway are out to collect from race fans.

The Oswego Speedway is proud to have Novelis as a partner with its race fans and the Oswego County Habitat for Humanity effort. Start saving your recyclable cans and be ready to bring them to the Oswego Speedway when plans are announced for the 2007 collection dates. The 2007 season begins for the Novelis Supermodifieds with an "Open Practice" session on Saturday May 5th.
