The Oswego Speedway Awards and Hall of Fame Banquet has a new home for 2006 at the Turning Stone Resort and Casino in Verona, New York.  Several top drivers in the PathFinder Bank Limited Super Division and the Novelis Supermodified Division will be honored at the event. The top twenty in points will receive checks from the Coca Cola / Hoosier / Shell Oil and Eagles Fan Club drivers point funds. Some award winners have already been determined from season long categories while others have yet to be selected. All winners will be announced on Saturday night.

In addition to the point fund awards, the Beachland Cleaning Services Supermodified Rookie of the Year and the Terrell's Potato Chips Limited Super Rookie of the Year awards, several new awards will be announced for 2006.

In the PathFinder Bank Limited Super division, drivers and teams that will receive at least one award in addition to the top twenty point fund checks include Tim Barbeau, Chris Proud, JJ Andrews, Alan Barker, Shawn Walker, Mike Bond, Larry Muroski, Russ Brown and the Outdoor Power and Volney Tire / D&S Landscaping Racing Teams.

In the Novelis Supermodified division, drivers and teams that will receive at least one award in addition to the top twenty point fund checks include Andy Noto, Bob Bond, Dave Halstead, Greg Furlong, Michael Barnes, Jerry Curran, Travis Bartlett, Todd Stowell, Otto Sitterly and the Snyder and Strong Racing Teams.

A 2006 Hall of Fame induction announcement will also be made on Saturday night.

This Saturday is the date. The Turning Stone Casino and Resort in Verona is the location. The events begin with a cocktail hour at 6:00 and a buffet dinner at 7:00. Entertainment will be provided by Ron Gray’s "Millenium Music" after the Awards Ceremony.
