Oswego Speedway continues to break new ground once again this year, as they have come to terms with Asphaltivison.com to carry all of the 2006 Classic weekend events via Pay Per View on the web starting on Friday, September 1st. After a huge response to their 2006 video webcasts, Oswego Speedway promoters Steve Gioia and Pat Furlong wanted to continue to provide their International audience the ability to take part in the tradition of racing at Oswego Speedway by viewing the Classic weekend LIVE on the web if they cannot make it in person. Asphaltvision Producer Matt Thomas comments on the 2006 Classic web cast. “I think we were all taken back after the success of our first LIVE video shows last year for the Classic, and when Pat and Steve approached us about the possibilities of doing the Classic on a Pay Per View basis again in 2006, we were ready to tackle the task,” commented Thomas. “In 2006 we have streamlined our subscription sign-up and payment for the pay per view, and our integration with www.oswegospeedway.com has also raised awareness to the many fans across the country.” Similar to the 2005 Classic web casts generated from the Oswego Speedway, the 2006 Classic weekend will feature all major classes of asphalt cars racing on the east coast with action beginning on Friday, September 1st at 6pm ET. A FREE preview of the Friday night racing events will be available for all registered members of asphaltvision.com while Saturday and Sunday action will require a Classic Pay Per View subscription starting at $11.99 if purchased before midnight on 9/1, and $14.99 the day of the events on Saturday and Sunday.
