Oswego SpeedwayThe Oswego Speedway is proud to unveil its new website as of March 10, 2006. The site is expected to give Oswego Speedway fans state-of-the-art experiences following their favorite race track and race car drivers. Each of the first two summers that the Oswego Speedway has been under new ownership there have been constant improvements to reaching the fans through the websites that were used. This final upgrade is the result of several months of looking at what the industry has to offer to race fans who want to choose between having all of the news that is available and having selective news in a hurry.

Racinkid ProductionsRacinkid Productions owner Matt Thomas has undergone the task of re-creating the new website for the Oswego Speedway. Matt currently operates several websites including DirtVision and AsphaltVision. Through his company Thomas Video Productions, Matt and his father Mel brought Live Audio and Live Video to Oswego Speedway race fans during the 2005 season at the Oswego Speedway. You can look for more exciting innovations from Matt and Mel through the new website during the 2006 season as well. Newly appointed Webmaster Ted Starr will be continuing to develop an maintain the site throughout 2006.

You will be able to see five different weekends of racing in 2006 with Live Video linked through Asphaltvision.com. Those weekends are highlighted in blue on the 2006 schedule on the website. There will also be a new weekly Live Audio webcast pre-race show hosted by Roy Sova and Joe Marotta beginning on May 13th. The show will be thirty minutes in length and will run from 3:00 to 3:30 on most Saturday afternoons. There will be special times when the racing schedule is altered for extra-distance events.

Another innovation that will be offered by Matt Thomas on the new website will be the addition of the Oswego Speedway point system for the Novelis Supermodifieds and PathFinder Bank Limited Supers to be integrated into the AMB Timing and Scoring System. Unofficial point standings will be updated in real time after every heat and feature event run in 2006. Once the totals are verified at the conclusion of the evening they will become official.

There are several other features of the website that fans will notice right away and there are several new pages that are being compiled for release in the very near future. Kids On-Track members will be able to sign up for the program for 2006 and join the Kids On-Track mailing list in the process. Race teams will have the opportunity to post news relating to their drivers, teams or sponsors.

Enjoy the new website for the Oswego Speedway and stay tuned in the coming weeks for new parts of the site to go live.
