When the Oswego Speedway 2006 schedule was announced last November, August 19th was listed as Oswego Quality Carpet and Ferris Industries Night with "Twin 30’s" for the Novelis Supermodifieds. But with Mother Nature washing out the "Mr. Supermodified" and "Mr. Limited Super" races on July 22nd, those features were moved to August 19th. This is the second largest feature pay-out in the country for Supermodifieds followed only by the Budweiser International Classic.

Oswego Quality Carpets has been supporting racing here at the Oswego Speedway for as long as they’ve been in business. In addition to their billboard in turn two, they annually sponsor a night of racing every August. Oswego Quality Carpet is celebrating their tenth anniversary of serving the residential and commercial customers of Central New York. They pride themselves on customer service, satisfaction, competitive pricing and professional installation. Oswego Quality Carpet features a complete line of carpeting, area rugs, hardwoods, vinyls, laminates, natural stones and ceramic and porcelain tiles. Oswego Quality Carpet has also been a sponsor to the Snyder Racing #0 for a number of years.

Ferris Industries is back on board as a race night sponsor in 2006. Ferris Industries has been associated in one form or another with the Oswego Speedway since the early days of the Limited Super division when Justin Shea used to drive the Ferris Industries #27 in that division. Ferris Industries brings new mowers to the marketplace every year. Some of their recent introductions include the 1500Z capable of tackling tight places, the 3000Z which has a 26 hp Kawasaki engine and the 4500Z which offers the choice of a 28 hp Cat diesel engine or a 35 hp Briggs and Stratton gasoline engine.

The rained out Novelis & OCNB "$10,000 to Win" Mr. Supermodified and "$1,000 to Win" Mr. Limited Super features will be run. Novelis will be on hand with their final can collection night of the season. Generous fans donated over 14,000 cans at the first collection event back on June 24th. OCNB will be on hand with employees and guests to take in the night of racing that washed out on July 22nd.

The tradition of new faces in Victory Lane on this night could continue as 2005 "Mr. Limited Super", Michael Barnes, now drives a Supermodified and 2005 "Mr. Supermodified", Greg Furlong, suffered a major crash on August 12th and may not be in the lineup.

Enjoy the Oswego Quality Carpet and Ferris Industries night of racing featuring the 20th Annual "Mr. Supermodified" and 15th Annual "Mr. Limited Super" races.
