With the year 2006 marking the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of the International Classic at Oswego Speedway plans are in motion to host a Classic Champions Breakfast Buffet in cooperation with Lighthouse Lanes Bowling Center, where the event will be held on Saturday morning, September 2nd from 8:00 to 11:00.

Oswego Speedway infield track announcer, Danny Johnson will be acting as The Master of Ceremonies for the affair. While race fans are enjoying the breakfast buffet the former Classic Champs will be available for a “Meet and Greet” for questions from the audience, interviews and later available for autographs and photos after the breakfast.

Some of the former Classic Champions scheduled to attend this celebration of the 50th International Classic race will be the first Classic winner “Irish Jack” Murphy-1957, Steve Gioia Jr.-1976, Warren Coniam-1977-87, Doug Heveron-1981-82, Doug Didero-1996, Greg Furlong-1999,00,04,05, Tim Snyder-2001 and Mike Ordway-2003 with more to be announced soon.
