Outdoor Power continues their unique exposure at Oswego Speedway in 2008 with the introduction of the "Outdoor Power SBS Back-2-Back” award. This driver bonus award will be paid each time that a PathFinder Bank SBS Racing Series driver wins consecutive features at Oswego during the 2008 season.

The first of five $10 adult admission nights in 2008 comes up this Saturday night as Lighthouse Lanes and the Oswego Sub Shop sponsor the ending of "Opening Week" to start the 58th season of racing at the Oswego Speedway. This annual co-sponsorship night also allows all Oswego Minor Hockey League players in for free who are wearing their jerseys. The PathFinder Bank SBS Racing Series will have their second points race of 2008 while the Novelis Supermodifieds will hit the track for the first time of the season.

Two names familiar to victory lane at Oswego Speedway, Shullick and Bond, kicked off the 2008 season at the lakeside oval with impressive wins.  Dave Shullick Jr raced to his third consecutive winged supermodified feature win at Oswego and Mike Bond completely dominated the SBS 30 lap feature. Both race winners started from the 11th position en route to their opening day wins at Oswego.

The successful Oswego Speedway Kids On-Track program continues to grow with ideas and sponsors for 2008. The program which offers various prizes weekly to its members continues to reach out to elementary school children through class room projects again in 2008.

An exciting new program is in place for out of town race fans that stay at either the Econo Lodge or Best western on East First Street in Oswego during the 2008 racing season. Guests will be able to get a discount off their room rates and be entered into a drawing for two sets of VIP Tower passes for July 19th when Econo Lodge and Best Western are co-sponsors for the night of racing along with Oswego Bagelry and Sandwich Shop.
