OSWEGO, NY (August 21, 2013) – With Budweiser International Classic Weekend on the horizon, Oswego Speedway has set aside four designated test sessions for race teams, which continue today.

Day two of testing saw Jessica Zemken continue to get more comfortable in the Graham Racing/Corr-Pak Merchandising No. 11 Supermodified.  By night's end Zemken pulled down into the 17.0 second range, and looks to gain more speed in a final session from 11am-3pm today.

Ray Graham was once again the fastest Supermodified in testing with a lap of 16.6 late in the evening.

Unfortunately the session would not go without incident as Brian Sweeney smacked the wall with his No. 3 Supermodified.  According to reports from the Sweeney team, a left front heim end broke sending the machine hard into the outside wall.  Sweeney is said to be done for the weekend as there is not enough time to make repairs.

Jeff Abold also tested yesterday with the No. 05 Supermodified that he ran in last year's International Classic.

Jack Patrick also took to the Speedway in the No. 9 SBS and quickly turned laps in the 19.5 second range.

Spectators will be welcome to view the test sessions in the main grandstand at no charge.

The testing line-up is subject to change at any time as teams have until 10am on the day of testing to withdraw their session, and teams can always be added to the line-up.  If a team does not withdraw their session by 10am on the day of their scheduled test, they will still be charged the session fee.

Keep up to date with any testing changes at www.oswegospeedway.com or on the Speedway’s social media accounts through Facebook and Twitter.

Budweiser International Classic Week runs from August 28-September 1 with the Race of Champions Asphalt Modified 100 joining ‘Fast 14’ Supermodified time trials on August 30.  Supermodified time trials will begin on August 30 at 6:15pm.

The August 31 line-up features the final round of the Shea Concrete ‘Steel Palace’ ISMA SuperSeries with the Bud Light ISMA SuperNationals 60, the Bud Light SBS Classic 75, and the ATQMRA TQ Midget Classic.  Race time on Saturday, August 31 is 5pm.

Second round Supermodified time trials, the Bud Light B-Main, and the Budweiser International Classic 200 will all take place on Sunday, September 1.  Round two time trials will take the green at noon with the International Classic scheduled to take the green at approximately 3pm.
