OSWEGO, NY (April 25, 2013) – After a three year hiatus, four time Oswego Speedway Pathfinder Bank SBS champion Russ Brown will make his full-time return to the ‘Steel Palace’ in 2013, once again teamed with car builder Ray Hedger.
Brown will pilot the same No. 13 Hedger chassis that he drove to a fifth place finish in last year’s Bud Light SBS Classic.

A many year veteran of the SBS division at Oswego Speedway, Brown was the inaugural Limited Supermodified track champion at Oswego back in 1992. Since then, the Mannsville, NY driver has racked up 19 career SBS victories and three more championships coming from 2005-2007.
Brown says after making a couple adjustments to the No. 13 over the off-season, they are prepared to try and chase another Oswego title.
“We have a great team and a great car,” said Brown. “We are looking to try and get some wins and hopefully a bunch of top five finishes and then maybe another championship. We’re back.”
With his weekly return to Oswego, Brown enters a rejuvenated Pathfinder Bank SBS field which has a total of 40 machines registered for the 2013 campaign, including 12 rookie drivers.
Joining F.X. Caprara Car Companies and Reed Benoit/Carpenter Stoodley Funeral Homes on the side of the No. 13 for the year will be CNY Power, Hedger Fabrication, Ralph’s Collision, Phil’s Garage, Brown Dairy, and Bella’s Formal Wear & Tuxedo Junction.
