OSWEGO, NY (June 28) – For the first time in two weeks, Oswego Speedway will take the green flag.  This Saturday, June 30 Davis Bros. Inc. of Oswego presents Grand Prix Night at the Steel Palace, featuring fireworks.

Extra distance events will be on the card for both divisions, as the Novelis Supermodifieds will run 75 laps while the Pathfinder Bank SBS Series will take on 35 circuits around the fast 5/8 mile Speedway.

Expected to be back in action this week are both Davey Hamilton and Jarett Andretti.  Hamilton will of course be back behind the wheel of the Nicotra Racing No. 6 Supermodified, while Andretti will pilot the Snyder Racing No. 0 Supermodified.

Tim Snyder, who has two Top 5 finishes this season, is out for the remainder of the year with a leg ailment similar to what sidelined him during the 2006 Speedway season.  Andretti has been tabbed as the pilot of the No. 0 on a race to race basis, as he continues his quest for the 2012 Cleaning for a Reason Supermodified Rookie of the Year title.

At the conclusion of the racing action Saturday night, be sure to stay at the Speedway for a huge fireworks display.
