OSWEGO, NY (June 14) – As a pre-cursor to Universal Metal Works Autograph Night, Oswego Speedway will take part in the Tri-Oswego 2012 Triathlon this Saturday, June 16 beginning at 8:30am. The Oswego Speedway Burritt Motors Chevrolet Avalanche Pace Truck will lead the way during the 15.5 mile Cycling Sprint Course, which is set to take off from West Third St. in Oswego near the entrance to Wright’s Landing Marina.
The No. 9 Novelis Supermodified of Stephen Gioia III will also be on display at the Tri-Oswego Triathlon finish line located on Lake St. in Oswego across from Breitbeck Park.
The Tri-Oswego Triathlon offers both sprint and intermediate races which consist of swimming, biking, and running. After a refreshing swim in the Oswego Harbor, participants will then bike through beautiful Oswego County, before running to a finish line that rewards racers with a panoramic view of Lake Ontario at Breitbeck Park.

Oswego Speedway will be in action Saturday night with Universal Metal Works Autograph Night at the Speedway. Grandstand gates open at 4pm, with the driver autograph session set to get underway at 5:30pm. The night’s first race is scheduled for 6:30pm.
Grandstand general admission is just $15, while Price Chopper Tickets to Go are available at any Price Chopper Supermarkets location for just $14.
Oswego Speedway events run May through September on most Saturday nights, culminating with the Fall Championship 75 on September 15th.
