OSWEGO, NY (June 7) – Oswego Speedway is back in action this Saturday, June 9 featuring RJ Caruso Tax & Accounting/Thunder Road Bar and Grill Autograph Night.

Joining the Novelis Supermodifieds and Pathfinder Bank SBS Series on the racing card this weekend will be the Tobias SpeedSTR Series.

Driver calendars will be available once again at the Speedway novelty stand, and are perfect for the autograph session this Saturday. All proceeds from sales of the calendars will be going directly back to the Oswego Speedway team owners and drivers in 2012.   
WHEN:
Saturday June 9, at Oswego Speedway in Oswego, NY.  Pit Gates will open at 2pm, grandstands at 4pm, autograph session at 5:30pm, and racing at 6:30pm. 

WHERE:
Oswego Speedway is located at 300 East Albany St. in Oswego, NY just off Route 104E.

TICKETS:
Padded reserved seats $22, general admission $17, Pit Passes $30.  Price Chopper ‘Tickets to Go’ are available at any Price Chopper stores for just $14, a savings of $3.  Tickets can be purchased in advance by calling (315) 342-0646.

QUICK TIME:
The fastest official Supermodified lap recorded so far in 2012 is a 16.445 second lap set by No. 22 Pat Lavery during opening night time trials.  The fastest lap turned during heat race action this season is a 16.524 second circuit turned in by No. 7 Otto Sitterly, while Joe Gosek holds the fastest official feature event lap at 16.866 set on opening day.

The quickest official heat race of the season thus far was also turned in by Gosek on opening night.  He completed the third heat race on May 5 in a time of 3:24.0 seconds.

The Top 5 fastest times (in racing or time trials) of the Supermodified season are as follows:

The fastest official lap recorded so far in 2012 in the Pathfinder Bank SBS division is a 19.349 second lap turned in by No. 77 Cameron Rowe during the Tony White Memorial feature event.  The fastest lap turned during heat race action is held by No. 26 Mike Bond at 19.399 seconds, while he also holds the fastest time trial lap of the season at 19.395 seconds.

The quickest official heat race of the season thus far was turned in by No. 01 Dalton Doyle just last weekend.  He won Saturday’s third heat race in a total time of 3:18.4 seconds.

The Top 5 fastest times (in racing or time trials) of the SBS season are as follows:

Kreig Heroth has unofficially turned the two fastest times of the SBS season in hot laps.  Last weekend he ran a time of 19.113 seconds in the second warm-up session, while also turning a 19.253 second lap in the second warm-up session on opening night.

No SBS car has officially recorded a lap in the 18-second bracket in the history of the division.

Saturday, June 16th – Universal Metal Works Night at the Races featuring a 50-lap Novelis Supermodified feature and a 30-lap Pathfinder Bank SBS Series main event.  Grandstand gates open at 4pm with the first green flag set for 6:30pm.
