The 2007 RoC Asphalt Modified Tour schedule will certainly keep the Modified teams busy during the upcoming season. The fourteen race tour will again be broken into regions with a possible twist being announced in the breakdown of those regions in the weeks to come. The regions have yet to be finalized due to the possibility that additional dates at the
"We have worked very hard on putting together a tremendous schedule for our race teams and fans" commented Tour Director Andrew Harpell. "We had hoped to release the schedule some time ago but due to some unforeseen date changes we had to hold the release." He added, "Our regional breakdown is important and we will have that finalized very shortly, we don’t want to discount the value of the breakdown by releasing it prematurely."
A tentative schedule was released in January and the initial response was very positive. The addition of Spencer Speedway to the RoC tour has created a lot of excitement for teams that compete there on a weekly basis. For several of those teams the overall R.o.C title has now been put within their grasps. The 100 lap event is sure to be a fan favorite.
Last year the RoC teams were slated to return to Wall Township Speedway for the first time in two years. Unfortunately rain put the halt on that event in 2006 but there has been plenty of anticipation for this years 100 lapper at the historic oval.
