  Wandering around Las Vegas earlier this year, it was obvious to see that you can bet on pretty much anything there. Basketball games, football games, baseball games, cabs racing up and down the Boulevard, horse races, anything, it doesn’t matter, you can place a bet.
     With Classic coming up this weekend, how cool would it be if we could place a few dollars on the race?  The International Classic is one of those that you can’t predict. There’s no way you can tell who is going to win before the race.  This year, there is little doubt that half of the starting field has a legitimate shot at taking home the checkered flag in the 55th annual Budweiser International Classic.  Keeping the thought of betting in mind with the Classic, here’s a thought or two about a rough idea of how the odds would play out if Las Vegas would open up betting lines for the Oswego Classic.

International Classic winner Bobby Bond has a nice ring to it.  From here on out, Bob will always be announced as Classic Winner, which is a pretty special title.  Only 27 drivers can rightfully be called a Classic Champion, and Bobby Bond is one of them.  The team overcame a few obstacles on their way to one of the most popular wins in Classic history.

    Rarely in any racing division, is there a guy to beat week in and week out.  Most series there is usually a handful of them, or upwards of a dozen or so, of guys that are on the top of the heap to knock off.  In the SBS division at Oswego Speedway, there is one guy that is the driver to beat week in and week out.  Mike Bond drivers the Solazzo #26, and has been the guy to beat in the Limited Supers/SBS division for the better part of a decade.
