OSWEGO, NY (July 1) – After a bout of poor luck to start the 2012 Novelis Supermodified season at Oswego Speedway, luck finally turned to the side of Randy Ritkses during the Davis Bros. Inc. Grand Prix 75 on Saturday night.  Driving the Darratt Farms No. 88 Supermodified, Ritskes inherited the lead from a fuel starved Ray Graham on lap 72, then managed to nurse his own mount across the line on his final drop of methanol to claim the 9th win of his career at the Steel Palace. Career win number 27 for Bond will go down as the closest official feature finish i...Read More...

Many end up in jobs they don’t necessarily like and never get to do the things they always wanted to do as a kid. Well, what if you got to follow not just one of your childhood dreams, but two? Oswego’s Bob Hoefer is one of the lucky few in that category.  Hoefer is the co-owner of Lighthouse Lanes in Oswego, which sits a couple of hundred feet from Oswego Speedway. He also is co-owner of a supermodified team that fields two cars for drivers Pat Lavery and David Gruel. Hoefer grew up less than a mile from the track and got t...Read More...
